Background

Kiana is K423, a body created through Otto Apocalypse's Sirin Project. The project used Sirin's DNA to create Herrscher-compatible clone bodies, and K423 became the vessel containing the Herrscher of the Void's power and persona. Kiana and Sirin are later identified as two extreme personalities split from the original Sirin: Kiana embodies the “good” side, while Sirin bears the vengeful Herrscher identity. 29 382 410

Siegfried Kaslana rescued K423 from Schicksal and raised her as his daughter. He later left her physically but continued watching from a distance in Changkong City, believing his presence could provoke the Herrscher personality within her. 10 17 29

After Siegfried's disappearance, Kiana traveled alone from Europe to Asia at the age of twelve. By the time of the Changkong City crisis, she had formed close ties with Mei and other classmates, and considered the city's civilians worth protecting even when Schicksal appeared inactive. 19
