Background

Bronya was trained as a child soldier and had already taken lives before Cocolia took her in. Cocolia gave her warmth and a family, making Bronya initially regard her adoptive mother’s orders as absolute. Her loyalty was rooted in the hope that Herrscher research could save Seele Vollerei. 5 176

She was subjected to Cocolia’s X10 Experiment, which damaged her emotional circuits and legs while costing her orphanage companions their safety and lives. Both combatants ultimately hold back, leaving Bronya unsettled by her own hesitation. 5 7
