Background / History
Raditus first encountered Rorschach as a hostile Servitor Skull, but surrendered after being outmatched. Rorschach tested its usefulness by ordering it to dismantle an ancient Terminator Power Armour; Raditus completed the task successfully and was retained for its technical expertise 126.
It became responsible for supplying Plasteel and Ceramite formulas, establishing an underground Forge Factory with Iron Man David, and producing or maintaining increasingly sophisticated military equipment 145 146. Its early work included the first Raditus-pattern Tactical Dreadnought Armour, modified so Rorschach could operate it before completing all Astartes augmentations 148.
Raditus repeatedly pursued unauthorized expansion. It secretly manufactured more than a thousand armed Auto-Servitor Robots, then later built an Intelligent Controlled Legion without fully informing Rorschach 163 285. After Rorschach destroyed its anti-gravity engine and mechanical claws as a warning, Raditus halted that production line to make Jessica's Power Armor 285.
Its rivalry with Sage Neil escalated into an armed battle at the Forge Factory. To protect the memory of its teacher, Master Sage Fastinious, Raditus deployed its secret Miniature Construct Knight Titan and intended to fight Sage Neil to mutual destruction if necessary 492. Rorschach stripped Raditus of Forge Factory management but allowed its Knight Titan research to continue, promising promotion if it completed the construct and its production line 493 494.
On Triple Fahl, Forge Master Wesley revealed fragments of Raditus's obscured past. Wesley claimed Raditus had been exiled by Mars for Abominable Intelligence research and privately identified it as the instigator of a Mars civil unrest, the “Master of the Myriad Thoughts,” and the founder of the Crimson Protocol 672. Raditus later concluded that the Emperor may have resurrected it with its memories purged; it fears that its former identity may endanger Rorschach and his fleet 699 700.
Appearance
Raditus is a hovering Servitor Skull with a white, bone-like cranium, red-glowing oculars, retractable mechanical claws, and an anti-gravity engine 144 163.
- Its ocular lights flash rapidly when excited, frightened, or angered.
- It can equip or deploy a miniature laser cannon from its skull 144.
- Its skull was later described as silver Vibranium during its use of the Miniature Knight Titan 519.
- It commonly operates from within its Miniature Construct Knight Titan during dangerous deployments 661 664.
Personality
Raditus is fervently devoted to the Machine God and the Emperor, frequently punctuating its work with ritual prayers and Mechanicus chants 148 175. It is intensely proud of its craft, particularly weapons, armor, production lines, and large war machines.
Its enthusiasm is paired with a reckless fixation on mass production, cybernetic modification, and Abominable Intelligence research. It often acts without authorization, conceals projects, or manipulates circumstances to obtain materials and labor 144 163 285 328. When confronted by Rorschach, it becomes visibly panicked and eager to apologize, but its fear of replacement also drives its ambition 285 493.
Despite its mischief, Raditus is deeply loyal to Rorschach and emotionally attached to its own past, teacher, and creations. It risked its existence defending Fastinious's memory and later confided its fear over its erased identity to Rorschach 492 699.

- Helped create the master-crafted Spark of Glory Power Armor, which has self-repair functions, enhanced strength, transformable flight wings, and a retractable skull helmet 602.
- Updated the skull helmet to integrate the Mind Stone and enable the Psionic Ray, an attack comparable in destructive power to a regular melta weapon 660 661.
- Created the third-generation Spark of Glory armor, replacing the external vibranium wings with integrated propulsion and four hidden neural-controlled servo-arms 990.
Servitor and Legion Production
Raditus specializes in constructing and modifying automated military forces.
- Secretly manufactured over one thousand armed Auto-Servitor Robots equipped with large-caliber slug firearms 163.
- Built an Intelligent Controlled Legion of approximately one thousand war machines 285.
- Its Legion included roughly five hundred Abominants capable of melee combat with chainswords or power swords, or ranged combat with bolters and laser weapons 285.
- Proposed using enhanced gang members as subjects for half-mechanical soldiers, though it admitted it had only imperfect knowledge of the process 285.
- Developed heavy combat servitors from superpowered violent criminals 631.
- Its research is constrained by the Crimson Protocol and Mars's prohibition on Abominable Intelligence 672.
Weapons Engineering
Raditus develops, adapts, and mass-produces firearms and tactical equipment.
- Presented Rorschach with the first Terra I Lasgun and a modified Hydra Energy Rifle 183.
- Worked on laser weapon production lines, including laser shotguns and sniper rifles 183.
- Produced blind grenades, smoke grenades, frag grenades, and adamantium handcuffs for Stormtrooper operations 335.
- Was ordered to develop miniature nuclear bombs for Rorschach's preparation to enter the Warhammer universe physically 375.
- Participated with AI Stark in researching the Extremis Virus, a nanobot swarm capable of consuming metallic matter 990.
Miniature Construct Knight Titan
Raditus independently designed a transforming war machine after abandoning its original ambition of building an Emperor-class Titan.
- Scythes form — melee-oriented configuration 493.
- Gear form — artillery and large-scale fire-suppression configuration 493.
- Eagle form — intended hybrid melee/ranged configuration; initially incomplete 493.
- Deployed the construct against Sage Neil's Castellan and Servitor forces during their Forge Factory conflict 492.
- Later completed the prototype with Tony's assistance and approached completion of its production line 577.
- Uses the construct as a durable combat body when travelling or entering battle zones 661 664.
Tactical and Political Acumen
Although primarily an engineer, Raditus can negotiate and advise on strategic matters.
- Warned Chapter Master Tyberus that Triple Fahl's Tech-priests were using generosity in resource negotiations to gain favor with Rorschach 664.
- Bartered Grey Tithe resources for supplies and favorable fleet-maintenance terms, gaining Tyberus's respect 664.
- Calculated teleportation coordinates during a Chaos battle after Rorschach ordered it to prioritize the survival of the Astartes and fleet 673.
