History

Roy first deploys Chibaku Tensei against the three High-level God leaders of the Black Wolf Bandits. He condenses a tiny black sphere, draws the targets upward with gravity, and encases them in an enormous sphere of Earth Element. The technique immediately establishes Roy as an equal to the Three-star Demons Yabo and Jody. 13

After completing its three-mystery fusion, Chibaku Tensei becomes Roy's strongest Five-star Devil-level move. During his return to Sanhe City, Roy leaves Chibaku Tensei spheres hanging in the sky along his route as warnings to would-be interceptors. 15 16

The technique remains one of Roy's principal sealing methods as his strength rises. It captures Yul Family elders during Korklav's ambush, seals Old Ox in the arena, and is later displayed on a scale capable of consuming mountains and seawater. 39 49 92

Gravitational Core

Chibaku Tensei begins with Roy condensing a small black sphere that emits overwhelming gravitational force.

• Pulls targets toward the core with a force strong enough to drag High-level Gods from the air. 13
• Can rapidly capture Five-star Devil elders; Six-star Devils require Sovereign Power to break free. 39
• Draws in nearby terrain and environmental matter, including earth, mountains, magical beasts, and seawater. 92
• Roy can remove an individual from the gravitational pull with Universal Attraction. 92

Earth Sphere Seal

Matter drawn toward the core is compressed into a massive earth sphere that imprisons the target.

• The initial documented sphere is approximately one thousand meters in diameter. 13
• Earth Element continuously layers over captured opponents, burying and sealing them beneath the core. 13 39
• The sphere can be dropped as a destructive projectile after formation, crushing the surrounding terrain on impact. 13
• Its four-law form is capable of sealing Old Ox after Chains of Heaven restrains him. 49

Divine Power, Life, and Soul Drain

The seal is designed to win through attrition even if the target initially survives imprisonment.

• It continuously extracts a captive's divine power to reinforce the seal. 13
• Once the target's divine-power recovery can no longer match the drain, the technique begins consuming their life and soul. 13
• Roy states that captives will be reduced to Divine Sparks within roughly a thousand years if nothing interrupts the process. 13
• Old Ox senses the seal draining both his soul and divine power, shortening the duration of his Innate Divine Ability. 49

Limitations and Counters

• Sovereign Power can allow sufficiently powerful captives to break free from the gravitational pull. 39
• Korklav destroys a completed Chibaku Tensei sphere with a Sovereign Power-enhanced Flame Sword Qi, shattering the gravitational core and dispersing its pull. 40
• If Roy disperses the Law Power sustaining the technique, captives may break out of the collapsing sphere. 49
