Background / History
Oliver grew up around the Sixth Street Gang because his father belonged to it. His father trained him in shooting, tactical movement, and fighting, and Oliver joined the gang at age twenty-four because he lacked other prospects. He had been a member for less than a week when his squad’s negotiation with Maelstrom in Little China became a massacre. Outnumbered three to one, Oliver survived only because Karl intervened and eliminated the Maelstrom attackers. 4 5
After being expelled from Sixth Street after only a week, Oliver left the gang’s military-style discipline behind and proposed that he and Karl become mercenary partners. He helped Karl navigate Night City’s cyberware market and accompanied him to Viktor Vektor’s clinic, despite having relied on his sister to manage cyberware purchases in the past. 6 7 31
Oliver became a core member of Karl and Jack’s crew, later known as the KK Squad. He developed from a newly recruited ganger into a sought-after Night City mercenary, specializing in long-range fire support, reconnaissance, driving, and tactical coordination. 31 154 793
His ties to Sixth Street remained important despite his departure. Oliver’s father, Nottingham Wenlio, remained involved with the gang, leaving Oliver concerned about plots to assassinate him and destabilize Sixth Street. Oliver personally prevented an attempt on Nottingham’s life and later helped manage escalating tensions with the Tiger Claws. 428 671 674 630
Appearance
Oliver is a blond, Western-faced man with prominent cybernetic modifications, especially his eyes and hands. 276 391 428
- Uses a special-color variant of Kiroshi Optics. 130
- His artificial irises can contract into vertical slits. 630
- His Kiroshi system can blur his face to cameras and assist with scanning and identification. 109 265 276

Personality
Oliver was initially frightened and overwhelmed by the reality of gang combat, joining Sixth Street largely to make a living under his father’s protection. Surviving the Maelstrom ambush and working with Karl and Jack made him more confident, practical, and composed under pressure. 4 31
He is sociable, teasing, and unusually good at making friends. Oliver trusts people he considers friends completely; when Andy agreed to protect his father, Oliver focused on the rest of the fight without second-guessing him. 43 678
Oliver is cautious with cyberware and money, deliberately choosing the Zeta Technologies Sandevistan Model 3 rather than immediately risking a more advanced implant. He also values human life over property, accepting the possible destruction of his Quartz when the Psycho Squad needed to reach a cyberpsycho quickly. 143 632
Abilities & Skills
Marksmanship and Sniping
Oliver is the squad’s primary sniper. His Sixth Street upbringing gave him a foundation in firearms training, and repeated mercenary work significantly improved his shooting. 31 87
- Uses long-range fire to support Karl and the team against heavily augmented targets. 87
- Can maintain a sniper role even during major engagements, recognizing that his strengths are best used at range rather than against overwhelming close-combat opponents. 325
- His accuracy and combat experience place him among Night City’s top-tier fighters, though he considers highly skilled close-quarters specialists potential equals or superiors. 633
Sandevistan and Kerenzikov
Oliver uses time-dilation cyberware to increase mobility and reaction speed. 144 794
- The Sandevistan allows him to move while others perceive time as slowed, creating visible afterimages. 144
- The Kerenzikov further heightens his neural reflexes and mental activity when paired with the Sandevistan. 794
- The combination causes elevated body temperature, sweating, and temporary disorientation after use. 794
- Oliver chose lower-risk cyberware at first because he fears cyberpsychosis from overburdening himself with implants. 141 143
Reconnaissance and Tactical Support
Oliver uses his optics, field awareness, and gang experience to support the squad beyond direct combat. 154 265
