• He-El exposed Rabbit Boss’s hidden treasure, returned stolen valuables to the villagers, and recruited him as Rabbit Can-Can.
• He-El’s group attacked Emperor Pilaf’s castle, where Yamcha died in the battle and He-El defeated the Super Emperor Pilaf Castle Robot to claim the last two Dragon Balls.
• He-El summoned Shenron and revived Yamcha, then sent Goku to continue training with Master Roshi.
• He-El traveled to West City with Bulma and founded He-El Food Company and an Energy Research Institute with funding and help from Dr. Briefs.

• He-El arrives on Papaya Island with his companions, reunites with Goku, and agrees to support Master Roshi’s plan to enter the tournament disguised as Jackie Chun.
• The Red Ribbon Army raids He-El’s institute, steals research data, and destroys equipment, while Emperor Pilaf, Ashu, and Mai flee into the Northern Forest.

He-El led the group against Red Ribbon headquarters, killed Tao Bai Bai, and faced Tien Shinhan before the Crane Hermit launched a Dodompa at him.

• He-El tested Goku’s Saiyan blood, then preserved his Adaptive Physique and took Bulma and Rabbit Can-Can to join Master Roshi’s group against the Red Ribbon Army.
• He-El and his companions defeated General Blue’s forces, and He-El killed General Blue before the group searched the island branch for treasure.
• He-El led the group through the pirate harbor’s traps, where they found the Three-Star Dragon Ball and uncovered a vast hidden treasure.
• Commander Red learned that He-El had defeated General Blue and hired Tao Bai Bai and the Crane Hermit to kill He-El, Master Roshi, and their allies.
• He-El’s group celebrated their haul at the pirate harbor, where Master Roshi recounted his history with the Crane Hermit and He-El explained his past life and his need to grow stronger.
• He-El piloted Justice One through the Red Ribbon Army’s defenses and landed at headquarters, where he overwhelmed Colonel Yellow’s regiment.
• He-El killed Tao Bai Bai in front of the Crane Hermit, who ordered Tien Shinhan to attack him.
• He-El blocked Tien Shinhan’s attacks and resisted Chiaotzu’s psychic power, then the Crane Hermit fired a charged Dodompa at him.

He-El killed the Red Ribbon Army’s leaders, took command, and began reforming the army while pursuing Dr. Gero. After reuniting with Goku, the group searched for Dragon Balls and entered Fortune Teller Baba’s tournament, where He-El defeated two of her warriors and let Goku take the next match.

• Commander Red revealed his plan to wish himself taller, and Vice Commander Black killed him before offering to help He-El locate Dr. Gero.
