Background / History

Caifeng is Yuan Feng's daughter and the Phoenix Clan's princess. While playing near the South Sea, she became lost and was pursued by Dragon Clan members seeking to abduct her. Taichu found her in phoenix form with broken wings and severe injuries, healed her, and drove the pursuers away. She identified herself as Caifeng, accepted Taichu as her master, and traveled with him to Three Immortals Island. 22

Taichu placed her in the Chaos Pearl and prohibited her from leaving seclusion until she reached Great Perfection in the Primordial Unity Golden Immortal realm. He personally imparted the Chaos Scripture and Nine Revolutions Mysterious Origin Skill to her. 24 After attaining the required realm, she sparred with Xuanyuan at an equalized cultivation level, displaying tenacity even after being injured and learning the importance of practical combat. 26

Taichu sent Caifeng back to the Southern Blazing Undying Volcano to reunite with her family. Yuan Feng initially distrusted Taichu's warning that the Phoenix Clan should not contend for supremacy, suspecting he was connected to the Dragon Clan.
