Background / History

Origin as the Primordial World

The Primordial Origin World's predecessor was created through Pangu's death. Pangu's breath became wind and clouds, his limbs became the four poles, his skin became land, his blood became rivers and seas, and his spine became Buzhou Mountain. His heart became Pangu Hall, where the Twelve Ancestral Witches were gestated from twelve drops of heart blood. 5

After the opening of the heavens, fragments of the Chaos Green Lotus spread across the world. A portion of Pangu's Great Dao Merit merged with those fragments to stabilize Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind, leaving the newly created world with both heaven and earth within and a barrier without. 5

Migration and naming

Taichu moved the Primordial World into the Chaos, intending to settle it in the Mist Forest. Ancient restrictions initially resisted the migration, but Taichu refined the ownerless territory and established it as the Ninth World. 171

Following the discovery of Innate Geng Metal Veins within the new territory, Taichu formally named the Ninth World the Primordial Origin World. He assigned its Three Ways of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity to Yang Mei, Hou Tu, and Nuwa respectively, while declaring his intention to unite the Nine Worlds. 173

Repeated crises and rebirths

The world became a target for surrounding powers shortly after its establishment. The Nine Yang World, Nine Netherworld, Purple Flame World, and Dark Shadow Clan were linked to efforts to seize or threaten it, while the Gods' Country later sent scouts and launched direct assaults. 175 198 212 214

Its source power was repeatedly central to these conflicts. Nal Supreme suppressed the world's source and damaged its barrier, while Tianqi later attacked the Source core and broke the seal beneath the Nine Heavens Hell. 214 216

Demon Shadow's followers subsequently drained the world's origin and used the Celestial Cycle Star Reversal Array to refine it into a Guixu anchor point. Taichu sacrificed himself to reveal the scheme, and Six-Eared Macaque merged with the World Tree to reverse the upgrade process and bring about the world's rebirth. 229 230

Civilization Nursery revelation

The Observers of the High-Dimensional Civilization revealed that the Primordial Origin World was part of a broader “Civilization Nursery.” Each such world was treated as a vessel in which civilizations could develop until they were harvested as specimens after touching dimensional laws. 244 246

Six-Eared Macaque ultimately used the fire seeds of harvested civilizations to recast the dimensional foundation and oppose the Observer system. This act produced a nascent universe nurturing free will rather than another controlled civilization. 246

Appearance

The world's form changes with each destruction and reconstruction. Its original landscape carried Pangu's physical legacy, while its post-Guixu rebirth centered on a newly formed World Tree. 5 230
