Personality
Dijun is patient, calculating, and highly conscious of imperial dignity. - Coordinated his Sun True Fire with Bi Fang's flames against the Immortal Court. 59

- The domain's strength is attributed to the faith and Qi Wu he commands within the Primordial Origin World. 198

Story Role / Major Arcs
Rise of the Demon Court
Dijun and Taiyi began from the Sun Star unwilling to submit to the Eastern Duke's authority. Bai Ze and Ying Zhao sought their protection, and Dijun used their arrival to begin gathering great demons beneath his banner. 54
He rescued Ji Meng from the Eastern Duke's forces, confronted the Immortal Court, and eventually established the Demon Court with Taiyi as Eastern Emperor. He expanded its leadership by recruiting Bi Fang, Fuxi, Nuwa, and Kunpeng. 56 59 61 70
Destruction of the Immortal Court
After Taiyi was trapped in the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation, Dijun used the Hetu Luoshu to extract him but withdrew rather than pursue an immediate victory. Five hundred years later, he mobilized the Demon Court against the Immortal Court, ordered the extermination of its forces, and oversaw the Eastern Duke's death. 63 64
Heavenly Emperor and the Starry Sky Great Array
Dijun renamed the Demon Court the Heavenly Court in the Thirty-Three Heavens and assumed the title of Heavenly Emperor. He and his core officials developed the Starry Sky Great Array as their decisive weapon against the Witch Clan, though the missing Taiyin Star prevented its completion. 75 77 91
Witch–Demon Conflict and Human Clan Plot
Dijun repeatedly clashed with the Ancestral Witches while attempting to secure Primordial Purple Qi for Kunpeng. After learning that Human Clan blood and souls could produce weapons capable of harming Witch Clan bodies, he approved a covert plan to forge such weapons and later led the Heavenly Court against the Human Clan. 71 79 113 116 118
Resurrection and Service to the Primordial Origin World
Dijun died during the Witch and Demon Calamity but was later resurrected. He and Taiyi offered their allegiance to Taichu, who instructed them to improve their cultivation before formally following him. 139
He later became the Primordial Origin World's World Protection Dharma King. In that role, he defended the world against Gods' Country invaders and joined the Fifth Elder and Taichu's clone in protecting its core and reinforcing a seal against an ancient evil presence. 198 199
Trivia
- Dijun regards his path as the path of an emperor rather than a path dependent on Primordial Purple Qi. 70
- Taichu identifies both Dijun and Taiyi as possessing the fate of a Nine-Nine Emperor. 139
- Although he is formidable in direct combat, Dijun's greatest strength is consistently portrayed as command, recruitment, formation planning, and strategic restraint. 56 63 77 88
