God Kings

The Committee was originally governed by five God Kings: the Kindness God, Evil God, Life Goddess, God of Destruction, and Asura God 159. Li Chang'an became the sixth God King after ascending and was given an additional seat at the Committee's round table 332.

• God Kings possess the highest level of access to the God Realm Central Authority; higher-ranked authority can override lower-ranked commands 332.
• Direct conflict among God Kings risks catastrophic damage to the realm because each holds a share of its highest authority 333.
• The five original God Kings jointly controlled the realm before Li Chang'an's ascension; afterward, they allotted him territory and monthly cultivation resources 333.

Environment and Resources

The God Realm is filled with dense Immortal Spiritual Energy, described as purified, filtered, and condensed Faith Power. It is sustained by the Faith Power of living beings in its subordinate worlds, processed through the God Realm Central Authority 302.

• Ordinary mortals cannot safely absorb large quantities of Immortal Spiritual Energy; excessive intake can cause their bodies to swell and explode 159 331.
• One breath of the realm's energy can extend an ordinary person's lifespan by years or decades, depending on the account 159 302.
• Long-term exposure can transform a body into a Divine Body and potentially elevate a mortal into a god 302.
• Divine Beings who ascend from the mortal realm use Immortal Spiritual Energy to complete their transformation and develop power matching their God Positions 204 332.

A God Position is the defining requirement for formal godhood. A being without one may possess god-level power but remains outside the formal divine hierarchy 136.

Laws and Restrictions

God Positions and the Central Authority

Divine Beings who merge their Godhood into the God Realm Central Authority become part of the God Realm's system. In exchange for access to its resources and Faith Power, their growth becomes tied to the realm's development 314.

• A stronger and larger God Realm raises the potential strength of its Divine Beings 314.
• God Positions formed in or integrated with the Central Authority are recorded and regulated by it 331.
• The Sea God, Ice God, and Seven Element God Positions were absorbed into Li Chang'an's Element God King position, causing their separate records to disappear from the Central Authority 331.
• The Seven Element Gods lost their God Positions when Li Chang'an summoned and absorbed their Godhoods through the Central Authority 300.

Restrictions on Soul Beasts

Following the Dragon God War, the God Realm established a rule preventing nonhuman beings from the lower realms from becoming gods 333.

• Soul Beasts on Douluo Star are subject to Heavenly Tribulations and cannot naturally break through to the God level 6 333.
• Even a million-year Soul Beast may possess god-level strength without becoming a formal god, because it lacks a God Position 136.
• The God Realm is stated to have created the Soul Master profession to exploit Soul Beasts as a source of Soul Rings and Soul Bones while cultivating human talent 333.
• The restriction can be ignored in practice by a God King with sufficient authority; Li Chang'an allowed Soul Beasts such as Snow Empress and Ah Yin to become gods without opposition from the Five God Kings 324 338.

Intervention in Mortal Worlds

History

Origin and the Dragon God War

According to God Realm legend, a God of Creation formed the realm by dividing its own power. Kindness and Life became its foundation, Evil and Destruction its reverse side, and Slaughter its order; these powers eventually developed into the five original Supreme God Kings 361.

The Dragon God later refused to merge his Godhood into the God Realm Central Authority, unwilling to have his strength restricted by the realm. He subsequently led Divine Beasts in rebellion, resulting in the Dragon God War and the later restrictions imposed on nonhuman ascension 314 333.

Ice God Inheritance

When Li Chang'an attempted to inherit the Ice God's Level One God Position, the Committee detected the event through its monitoring system. The Asura God sought to establish a God Exam, but the God of Destruction opposed the proposal 159.

The five God Kings ultimately waived the Nine Tests, judging a human inheritor for a Beast God's position too rare to risk losing. Li Chang'an inherited the Ice God's Heart directly 160.

Birth of the Element God King

Li Chang'an fused the Sea God and Ice God positions while using his comprehension of the Seven Elemental Attributes to create a new Godhood. This disturbed the God Realm Central Authority and drew the Godhoods of the seven Element Gods away from their holders 299.

By absorbing the seven Element Godhoods, Li Chang'an completed the final step to become the Element God King. The process expanded the God Realm by one-fifth and strengthened its Divine Beings through increased Immortal Spiritual Energy 300.

Ascension of the Eleven Divine Beings

A century after forging his God Position, Li Chang'an ascended alongside ten Divine Beings. Their combined divine auras activated an unusually large reception passage, briefly manifesting the God Realm over Douluo Continent 330 331.

Upon arrival, Li Chang'an rapidly advanced to true God King strength by absorbing Immortal Spiritual Energy. Ah Yin, Dugu Yan, and Xue Ke reached Level One God, while the remaining companions generally reached Level Two God 332.

The Five God Kings received the group at the Committee, accepted Li Chang'an as a sixth God King, and later granted him territory and cultivation resources 332 333.

Conflict with the Demon Realm

After the rise of Gu Yue Na, Di Tian, and Mo Ji to God King-level power on Douluo Continent, the God Realm detected three God King auras and dispatched five God Kings to eliminate the Dragon God's remnants 420.

Li Chang'an remained in the God Realm to prepare a trap using the Central Authority's power. During the ensuing battle, the Dragon God Clone sealed Douluo World with a Time-Space Barrier, cutting the invading God Kings off from their connection to the God Realm 420 421.

The conflict ended with the God Realm ceding land and paying compensation to the Demon Clan, which then withdrew from Douluo Continent 421.
