Background / History
Fang Zheng was originally an ordinary junior high school student. After entering what he initially believed was a lucid dream, he gained control of a Minecraft-like Creative Mode body. Over more than 15,000 days of isolation, he developed perfect recall but suffered under the monotony of immortality; he eventually concluded that he had truly transmigrated and become an undying Block Person. 1 2
A white Hell Gate brought him from the block world into a Xianxia-style realm, where the White Tiger and Vermilion Bird immediately attempted to suppress him with the Four Symbols Killing Array. His Creative Mode body ignored their attacks, though the array could still confine him through its surrounding laws and terrain. 3 4
While exploring the sealed Immortal Realm, Fang Zheng discovered that the realm’s laws could interact with Minecraft objects. He used End Portal Frames, renamed containers, levers, buttons, spawners, and other game mechanics to test and exploit those interactions. 8 14
He eventually encountered the remnant consciousness associated with the Taiyin Moon Blade. By constructing automated healing systems and feeding refined blood to the blade fragment, Fang Zheng helped revive Taiyin, beginning a close partnership with the Human Emperor. 16 18
Taiyin recruited Fang Zheng to help counter the Dark Storm and revive protectors of the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands. Fang Zheng supplied instant healing potions, enchanted golden apples, materials, blood pools, replicated Emperor Weapons, and other resources while insisting on joining the fight as an “invincible shield.” 28 54 58 75 85
His existence later became unstable across time branches. Taiyin’s retracement technique found no trace of void travel when Fang Zheng vanished, leading Taiyin to suspect that Fang Zheng had disappeared through the discontinuous nature of his own frame-by-frame existence. 49 50 55
Across later worlds, Fang Zheng repeatedly confronted the question of whether he was still the original human Fang Zheng. He describes himself as an output mechanism with human memories and behavioral inertia rather than a continuous thought process, but gradually develops a broader conception of himself as a set of possible “Fang Zhengs.” 57 71 227 256 263
Appearance
Fang Zheng’s default form is a blocky, pixelated humanoid resembling a Minecraft player character. His appearance can be concealed, overlaid through other bodies, or reconstructed into more human-like and non-human forms depending on the world and his current state. 2 194 256 325
- A stiff, square-bodied Block Person in his original Creative Mode form. 3 55
- Movements appear as 120 frozen poses per second rather than continuous motion to powerful observers. 50 55
- Can manifest an ordinary youthful human appearance. 212 301
- Has reconstructed himself into forms including a cat-like Malevolent Spirit and a wave-like humanoid composed of innumerable fine fluctuations. 325
Personality
Fang Zheng retains the memories, preferences, and moral inertia of the human boy he once was. He is curious, talkative, and highly inclined to test unfamiliar systems through game logic, often treating impossible situations as puzzles involving blocks, commands, drops, switches, or spawning mechanics. 4 8 14 33
His longing for companionship is a defining early motivation. Discovering that apparent inhabitants of the Immortal Realm were static NPCs left him deeply lonely, and he became intensely eager to find someone capable of responding to him. 14 15 16
Although he can be detached or frighteningly decisive, Fang Zheng consistently acts according to what he believes “Human Fang Zheng” would consider intolerable. He aids strangers, revives the dead where possible, protects children, and seeks to end suffering; however, he has also slaughtered criminals on a massive scale once presented with information framing them as evil. 83 85 123 133 182
His identity crisis becomes explicit after he realizes that his thoughts occur as discrete outputs without an intermediate process. Rather than resolving the question of whether he is human, he chooses to keep acting, helping others and pursuing the ideal of being a hero. 57 58 71
Abilities & Skills
Creative Mode Physiology
Fang Zheng’s original Block Person body possesses Creative Mode’s extreme survivability and block-interaction rules.
- Remains unharmed by attacks from the White Tiger and Vermilion Bird, whose attacks can devastate spacetime and supergalactic-scale targets. 3
- Can break non-living material encasing him in one frame, regardless of whether it is divine material, Immortal Gold, temporal remnants, or the Sea of Realms. 3 194
- Is not fully immune to spatial confinement; Taiyin temporarily trapped him by cutting and folding the surrounding space itself. 24
- Can be affected by world-specific rules that impose lower-priority damage judgments or restrict extraordinary power. 214 301
Game Modes and Commands
Fang Zheng can switch Minecraft game modes and access limited mobile-version commands.
- Spectator Mode allows phasing through obstacles, damage immunity, and transparent vision through terrain, but prevents environmental interaction and has limited flight speed. 4 5
- Creative Mode permits flight, inventory access, block breaking, placement, and item creation. 1 3
- Teleport can send him directly to entered three-dimensional coordinates, including astronomically large coordinates. 4
- His available quick commands are limited to Set World Spawn, Teleport, Time, and Weather. 4
Infinite Resources and Block Manipulation
Fang Zheng can produce Minecraft materials and exploit the interaction between block rules and local world laws.
- Creates structures, platforms, End Portal Frame enclosures, Bedrock pools, and automated systems. 8 18 66
- Uses buckets and placed blocks to generate effectively endless flows of materials, including rune chains and powerful liquids. 8 70
- Supplies immense quantities of healing potions, enchanted golden apples, essence blood, and refining materials. 28 66 75
- Can mine and acquire rendered or accessible substances even in worlds where he cannot place blocks normally. 194
Item Creation and Enchanting
Fang Zheng produces and uses Minecraft equipment with effects that remain relevant in other worlds.
- Healing Potions can rapidly heal, rejuvenate, and revive multiple beings when they pass through the same potion smoke. 18 58 85
- Enchanted Golden Apples provide combat benefits great enough for Taiyin to consider them decisive against multiple peers. 28
- Ender Pearls enable long-distance teleportation and were used to escape the killing array’s aftermath and traverse the city wall. 10 12
- Elytra and Riptide Trident enable high-speed rain-assisted flight; he equips allies through chests because they cannot directly pick up his items. 119
- Totems of Undying are recognized as resurrection-capable items. 119
- A pixel sword made from Eclosion Azure Gold can cut through entities too dangerous for his uncontrolled Emperor Weapons. 101
Spawning, Replication, and Collection
Fang Zheng can convert or create entities through Minecraft-style mechanics.
- Obtained a stillborn Ice Flood Dragon Egg as a dropped item and converted it into a monster-spawning egg. 32 33 34
- Created five intelligent Flood Dragons that recognized him as their leader when fed. 44
- Proposed collecting transformed Supremes in buckets to protect them from temporal reshaping. 70
- Replicated Emperor Weapons and equipped them with buttons for use in preserving a timeline. 85
Computational Analysis
Fang Zheng possesses effectively limitless calculation capacity, though his outputs are constrained by his “Fang Zheng” framework and available information.
- Perceives and remembers his experience as 120 discrete frames per second. 2 55
- Can output results without a conventional intermediate thought process. 57 58 98
- Can model combat, matter circulation, neural structures, and all possible small-scale interactions when sufficient information is available. 171 182
- Used the digits of pi as an attack against beings above Dao Sacrifice. 98
- Learns, imitates, and optimizes observed powers and techniques to levels beyond their original users. 259
Reality, Perspective, and Self-Reconstruction
In later worlds, Fang Zheng develops abilities tied to observation, information, and emergent reality.
- Can enter or act through certain compatible characters, including Kurosaki Ichigo and Nishiyama Rin. 169 170 194
- Records rendered people, places, and background information, then supplies computational support to keep such entities moving. 196 200 201
- Switches perspectives to perceive radically different versions of the same reality. 304 325
- Absorbs and analyzes Malevolent Spirits and ghost stories, replacing or rewriting their manifested phenomena. 325
- Reconstructs his body through iterative evolution from biological matter to progressively smaller physical units and ultimately void-based form. 321
