Shen Jin defeated the tyrants at Technology College, rescued survivors, and traded with the Government for crystal-core technology. After awakening a food-creating ability and restoring Shang Qian’s powers, he formed a Zombie Slaying Squad and began bringing the college’s women to Red Water Bay Base, where some refused to go.

• Shen Jin’s group killed the tyrants Zhu Ying and Cao Changren, then raided their base and rescued Mu Yan and 110 women from the college.
• Shen Jin encountered Zhu Dan, mistook him for an enemy, and escaped the Government troops with his group before returning to Red Water Bay Base.
• Shen Jin traded two Extractors to Hu Shou for crystal cores, then used an Advanced Special Ability Awakening Potion to gain the Food Creator ability.
• Shen Jin tested his special foods and gave Shang Qian an ability-enhancement potion, restoring her space-based ability and making her a Tier 1 Superhuman.
• Shen Jin formed the Zombie Slaying Squad and gave its eleven founding members awakening potions, while Zhao Chao and Liu Yang demonstrated their new abilities.
• Shen Jin accepted a mission to grow the settlement to 1,000 people and began building an underground passage to the college as Zhao Chao’s squad hunted zombies.
• Shen Jin and Shang Qian reached the college survivors, but several women refused to leave for Red Water Bay Base and accused the group of trying to force them.

Shen Jin expanded Red Water Bay Base, strengthened its Superhuman squads, and prepared to fight a horde of seventy thousand zombies with Zhu Dan's help. The first mines thinned the advancing horde, but the zombies halted at night before the main battle.

• Shen Jin recovered the supplies, stored special ability food for later use, and assigned Zhao Chao to recruit and train a second squad.
• Shen Jin led the Zombie Slaying Squad to clear Diao Family Village and discovered that zombies could evolve by eating one another.
• Shang Qian formed the Female Boss Squad, and Shen Jin supplied awakening potions and equipment as Red Water Bay Base reached one thousand residents.
• Shen Jin enhanced his food ability and learned from Zhu Dan that D City had a diamond mine.
• Shen Jin rejected evacuation for himself after Xia Anbang warned of the approaching horde, and Zhu Dan agreed to help defend the base.
• Shen Jin evacuated the residents, built layered defenses and TNT mines, and used Zhu Dan's Empowerment alongside his Enchanting Table to strengthen equipment.
• Shen Jin deployed twenty-four Superhumans as the horde approached, while D City's Superhuman Vanguard Team One arrived by helicopter to retrieve the Technology Special Ability User.
• Shen Jin watched two hundred mines thin the horde before it stopped at night, then vowed to return to Q City as Shang Qian promised to fight beside him.

Shen Jin and Red Water Bay Base defeated the massive zombie horde, then Shen Jin expanded his settlement and unlocked industrial technology. After equipping himself with Jetpacks, he rescued and awakened Li Moxuan before arriving in D City to trade with the Government.

• Shen Jin and Red Water Bay Base’s Superhumans fought off the horde’s M1 Zombies, Harpies, Spitters, and Z-Type leader as Shen Jin’s team repeatedly destroyed its bridges and defenses.
• Shang Qian transported Shen Jin above the Big-Head Zombie, and Shen Jin cut through its barrier and body with his empowered Diamond Sword, but the Z Zombie revived and resumed the attack.
• Shen Jin lured the horde into the pit, detonated one thousand TNT blocks, and killed the Big-Head Zombie after receiving a World Line from its death.
• Shen Jin completed Prosperous Settlement III, kept his World Line for a future mission, and unlocked Intermediate Industry I, gaining access to industrial equipment and the Jetpack.
• Shen Jin installed a Mining Machine underground, crafted Jetpacks, and tested them with Shang Qian before preparing to trade Extractors and resources with the Government.
• Shen Jin lent Zhu Dan a squad for the Lükou District operation, then flew with Shang Qian toward D City and rescued Li Moxuan from a zombie horde.
• Shen Jin gave Li Moxuan an awakening potion, and she gained telekinetic powers before chasing the three men who had abandoned her.
• Shen Jin and Shang Qian arrived in D City and emptied a warehouse of tin and iron, then Shen Jin challenged Xia Anbang’s limit on copper by asking whether the military base needed electricity.

Shen Jin secured materials for his technology, expanded his forces, and led a campaign into Q City while Zhu Dan sacrificed himself to save captives from a Brood Nest Zombie. The arc left Shen Jin at Ancestor Mountain, where he encountered the Northern Faction amid its conflict with the Southern Faction.

• Shen Jin built a wind turbine for D City’s base, exchanged his technological knowledge for resources, and traveled with Shang Qian to mine diamonds while Zhu Dan’s team began clearing a tower.
• Shen Jin and Shang Qian killed a Harpy Zombie at the mine and automated the excavation, while Zhu Dan’s team fought through floors of little zombies and discovered a Brood Nest Zombie holding captives.
• Zhu Dan returned alone to save the prisoners, grew into a giant with Wish Fulfillment, and killed the Brood Nest Zombie, and Shen Jin received Zhu Dan’s Rolex and learned of his final wish.
• Shen Jin awakened thirty trainees, assessed their abilities, and organized Superhuman squads to reclaim Q City while leaving Liu Yang and Zheng Ying in D City.
• Shen Jin led forty Superhumans into Q City, fought through a zombie swarm, and found his childhood villa ruined but his deepest underground supplies intact.
• Shen Jin rebuilt the villa, made memorials for his lost companions, and sent his squads to sweep Q City for survivors and signs of a Z-Type Zombie.
• Shen Jin and Shang Qian traveled to Ancestor Mountain to set up Mining Machines, then entered the settlement and learned of the Northern and Southern Factions’ rivalry after Shang Qian killed a Southern Faction leader.
