Background

Yūske began as a self-trained shinobi from a family that operated a restaurant. Lacking a teacher and offensive techniques, he sought advice from Tsunade after earning merits to exchange for ninjutsu. His chakra nature is Wind Release. 2

His life changed after he discovered and ate a strange fruit in the forest, awakening String Style. Hiruzen Sarutobi took notice of the unusual bloodline ability, particularly after Yūske forced Jiraiya into a corner during a covert test. Hiruzen later accepted him as a disciple and arranged training under Enma. 2 7 10 16 17

Yūske rapidly rose through Konoha’s ranks, becoming a jōnin before joining the Second Shinobi World War. His performance against Sunagakure—including defeating puppet masters, overpowering five jōnin, and forcing Chiyo to retreat—established him as a major asset on the battlefield. 23 38 45 47

Appearance

Yūske is described as a clean-featured young man. At nineteen, he introduced himself as an unmarried male from a family with stable means. 6 24

  • In his fully merged Six Paths state, he manifests a feathered coat, capri pants, and pointed shoes modeled after Doflamingo’s appearance. 482
  • His Six Paths transformation makes his appearance resemble Uchiha Madara’s, shocking the Ninja Alliance. 479
  • His combat style often covers his body or surroundings in dense white strings. 7 214

Personality

Yūske is intensely self-directed. Having trained without proper guidance, he continually seeks new methods to improve, from developing String Style techniques to pursuing Sage Mode and Six Paths power. He ultimately identifies his reason for becoming stronger as gaining the freedom to do what he wants. 2 16 62 262

He is analytical and adaptable in battle, readily borrowing useful techniques and modifying them to fit his strings rather than limiting himself to a single fighting style. His plans frequently rely on ambushes, traps, infiltration, and exploiting an opponent’s incomplete knowledge of String Style. 7 16 38 357

Yūske is fiercely protective of those he considers his own. His parents’ disappearance drives him to mobilize allied clans, investigate Root facilities, and openly defy Hiruzen’s authority in his pursuit of Danzō. 15 211 214

His loyalty to Konoha and his loved ones coexists with a ruthless streak. He orders the execution of bandits to protect his stronghold and wages a devastating campaign against Kirigakure when his family is threatened. 148 207 209

Abilities & Skills
