Jiang Xing is the only son of Jiang Heng and Su Qian. His father possesses wind-affinity Dou Qi, while his mother possesses fire affinity. Although the family expects him to inherit wind affinity alone, he discovers fire energy mixed with wind when he begins cultivating 1.

Before his transmigration, he lived on Earth and read Battle Through the Heavens.
