As performers returned to Konoha and new intelligence teams began searching for Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, Lin Tian faced a dangerous choice about his enhanced Mind's Eye.

• Torikaze and Uchiha Fugaku helped Minato capture Obito Uchiha in Takigakure, where Obito blamed Minato for Rin’s death and Torikaze explained how Black Zetsu had deceived him.
• Torikaze brought Obito to meet Rin and Kakashi, then sealed him in a Cloud Stone above the Hokage Tower while Hatake resolved to move forward with his new life.
• Torikaze visited Ran in the Land of Whirlpools, where Ran and the Second Prince developed a Sealing Scroll that could seal objects but not living creatures.
