Background

Su Changqing was an ordinary programmer on Earth before transmigrating into the Great Shang Dynasty. Relegated to sweeping the Imperial Guard Enforcement Agency as a handyman, he was killed after offending Iron Claw Flying Eagle. His second life began with the awakening of the Great Villain System, which exposes other people’s Life Scripts, destinies, and upcoming opportunities 1.

His first major theft was Li Kongxiang’s chance to obtain three Enlightenment Tea Leaves from the Taiqing sculpture. The leaves raised him to Body Refinement Stage Seven and gave him access to the Great Shang Armory, where he began gathering martial arts manuals and building his foundation 2.

While still weak, Su Changqing entered the Cold Palace, killed Li Yuanying and several West Factory eunuchs, and deliberately named Li Kongxiang as the culprit. The false identity gave him time to enter the Imperial Guard and pursue greater opportunities, but made Li Kongxiang a target of the West Factory 4 6.

His rise through the Imperial Guard was built on dangerous missions, resource theft, and rapid cultivation. He killed the Scarlet Blood Scholar, Iron Claw Flying Eagle, and numerous bandits, then defeated Ye Tian and became a feared figure within the Suppression Bureau 12 13 24.

He is also ruthlessly decisive. He uses deception, hidden weapons, coercion, and execution orders without hesitation when they serve his objectives; his absorption of captured experts’ cultivation shows his refusal to be constrained by conventional divisions between righteous and demonic arts 32 44 113.

Despite this, he values promises and repeatedly protects people who have earned his regard. He spared Duan Yu and his companions after obtaining the Six Meridians Divine Sword, publicly supported Qiao Feng, and returned the Cloud-Turning Seal to You Chao Yin Yue despite its value 105 164 433.
