The realm's known past includes the creation of the Ancient Immortal Secret Realm roughly 20 billion years earlier by an unknown True Immortal. The secret realm functions as a trial and source of benefits for younger generations, with the potential to produce Immortals on a large scale. 473

During a major crisis, Yuan Mingzun's strength rose until he entered a state of Harmonizing with the Dao. Within seven days, every Co-Lord of Spring and Autumn submitted to him, making him the realm's Supreme. It was then established that the Yuan Tian Realm was trapped inside a cosmic barrier. 473

In response to a predicted Fifth Realm prodigy ascending to the Seventh Realm and causing a catastrophic butterfly effect, the Five Great Ancient Immortals conducted a realm-wide census focused on Fifth Realm cultivators.
