Memories Kept Flooding Back, West City
High in the sky.
Talot, Gine, and Selari soared freely through the air.
After arriving on Earth, this was their first time leaving Kami's Lookout, and also the first time they had truly let themselves go, flying as they pleased.
Through sensing ki and following the Battle Power Detector's guidance, the three quickly pinpointed the nearest human city.
It had to be said that although Earthling architecture differed somewhat from that of Talot's previous life, there were at least some similarities. It was nothing like the buildings on Planet Vegeta or other planets, which had nothing in common with them at all.
The familiar skyscrapers, familiar streets, even the familiar "Earthlings."
The bustling city stirred up memories Talot had buried deep within his heart for many years.
What struck Talot was that the animal-type Earthlings of this era were unlike those of later times, when animal-type Earthlings had nearly gone extinct, leaving only a few important characters.
At the same time, based on what he knew of this city, Talot realized that Earth's technological level in this era of the Dragon Ball world was probably comparable to that of his previous life.
Just as I expected, Earth's technology in the Dragon Ball world only began advancing at a rapid pace after the story started. Talot silently sighed to himself.
One thing proved it: the vehicles in this city were not the flying cars that would later become commonplace in the original story.
But thinking about it, although Capsule Corporation was primarily known for its capsules in the original story, it must have had extensive involvement in many other industries as well.
It could be said that Capsule Corporation had driven Earth's technological progress.
Otherwise, how could capsules have been applied across every industry?
Simply put, it was after Bulma grew up and took over Capsule Corporation that Earth's technological advancement truly began to accelerate.
As they wandered down the streets, Talot did not pay much attention at first, causing him to overlook the most crucial issue.
Their clothing was simply too strange, so the pedestrians around them kept studying them with curious looks and whispering among themselves.
It was only when those stares became more and more frequent that Talot subconsciously realized what was happening.
At the same time, Gine and Selari had already become extremely uncomfortable and displeased.
Being pointed at and treated like clowns—if they had intended to do anything on Earth, everything here would have been completely destroyed.
"Aunt Gine, Brother Talot, these people are so annoying." Selari looked like she was about to lose her temper.
Gine nodded as well. She looked at Talot and was about to speak when she heard him speak first.
"Our clothes are unusual, so they're drawing attention. Bear with it. We aren't here to invade, much less destroy Earth. Let's find a clothing store and change first. Besides, I have some valuable things on me," Talot said.
The two women nodded in succession.
Soon, after a bit of maneuvering by Talot, he exchanged some gold, silver, and jewelry he had collected on Aoyun Planet for Earth's currency.
Talot had already considered that they could not get by on Earth without money, so gold, silver, and gemstones, being hard currency, were the bargaining chips he used for conversion.
After obtaining Earth's money, Talot, Gine, and Selari found a large clothing store.
For Talot, he could finally stop wearing combat armor and those loose hemp garments.
After changing into casual clothes, he gave off a carefree, masculine air and looked exceptionally handsome.
Although he was only six years old, Talot was already outstanding in both height and build.
Even among Saiyans, Talot's physical development ranked in the upper-middle range.
Unlike Vegeta, who was only 164 centimeters tall even as an adult, or Kakarot, who was only 175 centimeters tall.
In other words, Talot and Raditz belonged to the same type. If he continued growing normally, exceeding 190 centimeters in adulthood would be perfectly normal.
Over 1.9 meters was only upper-middle range?
That was right!
Quite a few Saiyans were over two meters tall. Nappa from the original story, for example, stood a full 247 centimeters tall.
There were naturally many others in the original story as tall as Nappa. A classic example was Broly, who stood 232 centimeters tall in his Base Form and reached a terrifying 286.5 centimeters after transforming.
Leaving height aside, Gine and Selari also changed into Earth clothes.
It could be said that they, too, were drawn to Earth's clothing.
Even Saiyans could not escape a woman's love of beauty.
After buying many clothes, the three finally left the clothing store and continued strolling outside.
With their change of attire, they no longer received any particular attention from passersby. At the very least, no one stared at them so openly anymore.
Of course, people still could not help giving them a few extra looks.
Talot was handsome, while Selari was incredibly cute. Even though she was still young, she still caught plenty of attention.
And Gine was also remarkably beautiful.
As they moved through the city, Talot and the other two soon left it behind and headed for other places on Earth.
Time passed bit by bit.
In the blink of an eye, a day had gone by.
Talot and the other two traveled from city to city, experiencing Earth's local customs and passing through small towns with beautiful scenery.
When he was in a bad mood, taking a walk like this could do a great deal to ease his worries.
Gine relaxed as well, no longer fixating on finding Kakarot as quickly as possible.
More than anything, she had been astonished by Earth's prosperity.
She had visited many planets and seen many civilizations, yet she had never encountered a human civilization like the one on Earth.
Harmonious and prosperous—even though its lifeforms were not particularly powerful, everything developed in an orderly fashion, without the slightest hint of chaos.
Naturally, Gine had only seen the broad picture.
In truth, every place had criminals. As the saying went, where there was light, there would be shadows. It was only a matter of whether one happened to encounter them.
After wandering around for a while, the three of them arrived at another exceptionally prosperous city, the largest of them all.
Upon learning that this city was West City, memories buried deep in Talot's mind surfaced.
In fact, West City had been his first destination after arriving on Earth. Capsule Corporation was here, and so was Bulma's home.
He had come here primarily to make use of Bulma and Brief's scientific minds to create certain special things.
The Dragon Ball Radar, the Gravity Training Room, improved Spaceships, and so on...
If he had come alone, Talot would not even have bothered hiding anything.
The problem was that he was not alone. Whatever he did, he had to give Gine and Selari an explanation.
By this timeline, Vegeta, Raditz, and I are all six years old. Then Bulma should be five now, right? Talot silently calculated Bulma's age.
To be honest, Talot did not know much about other women.
But Bulma was different. No, Android 18 too! These were women any Dragon Ball fan would know and be familiar with.
Talot even remembered Bulma and Android 18's height, weight, and measurements as adults.
Of course, whether they were truly the same as he remembered depended on how this real world would turn out.
