Background

Hela was raised by Odin as the warrior most suited to fulfill Asgard's expansionist ambitions. She sought her father's approval through military achievement, developing into a battlefield commander while the other children of Asgard lived comparatively ordinary lives. Frigga trained her in magic, giving Hela access to spells from other galaxies in addition to her Asgardian divine power. 24 37
