Chapter Summaries

Andrew absorbed two mercenaries and unleashed his recovered powers on the City of the Undead, while Wei Mingshao and the others struggled to survive the battle. Evelyn entered the tomb with O'Connell and eight Armed Robots to search for the White Book of the Dead as the fighting continued outside.

• O'Connell attacked Imhotep, but Imhotep blinded him by stabbing his mechanical eyes with his severed hand and then raced toward the mercenaries.
• Andrew drained two mercenaries, recovered his body and magical power, and pursued the others with Scarab Beetles and sand.
