Background / History
Lin Feng, a Pokémon Breeder, awakens in the body of Aiven, a sixteen-year-old commoner from Orange Fruit Village in the City of Ambition. He initially focuses on survival in a violent feudal society shaped by class divisions, wild Spirits, disease, and recurring disasters. 1 7
After learning that Baron Reiser stole Uncle Darby's healing Lily Root Doll, Aiven resolves to rescue it. His knowledge of Pokémon breeding and potion-making quickly distinguishes him from the era's conventional Magical Beast tamers, who primarily rely on Beast Gear and coercion. 1 4 61
Aiven's aims broaden after receiving the Border Count title. He decides to build a society modeled after the Alliance of his former world: one in which commoners and nobles are not separated by birth, and humans and Spirits can coexist freely. 162
Personality
Aiven is pragmatic, observant, and exceptionally long-term minded. He studies his inherited memories, assesses local customs, and adapts modern Pokémon knowledge to a world that treats Spirits as tools or threats. 7 61
He consistently prioritizes willing recognition over forced control. Although he uses Beast Gear when necessary, he regards it as an aid rather than the basis of partnership, and he repeatedly gives Spirits a choice to stay with him or leave. 61 63 32
His compassion is strongest toward injured or exploited Spirits. He treats wounded Magical Beasts, opposes indiscriminate abuse, and even arranges burial for Spirit remains found in the Monster Merchant Association's secret chamber. 24 211 217
Aiven can also be severe when confronting threats to Spirits or his territory. After uncovering evidence of systematic cruelty in Gis Town, he moves decisively against the Monster Merchant Association and uses the victory to weaken its influence. 217 230
