The Explosion

Garp's aura was deep and terrifying.

His body swelled slightly, and his muscles bulged until they burst through his suit. Garp didn't care. He grabbed the suit, tore it off, and tossed it aside.

To Ares, Garp now seemed dangerously powerful. At the same time, he had finally gotten Ares's blood pumping.

Ares knew about Garp. Teach had made it clear that he was unquestionably one of the monsters at the very pinnacle of the world. Ares couldn't underestimate him just because of his age.

Faced with that oppressive aura, Ares grew truly serious. Garp had now surpassed Kaido.

But Ares would have to test Garp's strength for himself to know exactly how powerful he was.

Ares stood ready. His towering frame put him at a disadvantage compared with Garp, so his best option was to use his explosive power and wait for the right moment to strike.

The next instant, Ares's pupils narrowed. Garp vanished from where he stood and charged at him at incredible speed. There was no way to dodge.

There wasn't even time to counterattack.

Bending his body like a bow, Garp drew on his entire frame and unleashed a full-power punch at Ares.

The air exploded. Even space rippled faintly under the force.

Garp's mighty fist showed no visible coating of Haki, but Ares could feel its terrifying power. It contained Armament Haki in its most concentrated form—and even Conqueror's Haki, held within his body.

Teach's eyes widened at the sight. He leaned forward, his hands tightening unconsciously around the woman in his arms until her brows furrowed and she let out a soft moan.

He wanted a better look. He couldn't experience it firsthand, but he could imagine what Garp was like in this state—and just how terrifying he had become.
