"Lady Tsuru, why are you all so serious? Sit down and have a drink."
Rediat gazed at Tsuru with a faint smile. The light deep in his eyes easily saw through her thoughts.
He could also sense the emotions the Marines were giving off. They wanted nothing more than to attack and kill him immediately, but Tsuru's words held them back. More than anything, though, they were cowed by the pressure Rediat exerted without even trying.
They knew what the situation was like. No matter what, they had to hold back and wait for Marshal Sengoku to return.
"We don't have tea for you here." Tsuru coolly rejected Rediat's teasing. There was no question about it—otherwise, where would the Marines' dignity be?
Rediat said nothing. He still felt a measure of respect for an old woman like her.
As if he had sensed something, Rediat turned toward the sea beyond the harbor. Before long, a Marine battleship appeared on the horizon.
Sengoku was back!
Many Marines broke into delighted smiles.
Rediat remained unruffled, watching the battleship draw closer.
When it was only a hundred meters or so from the harbor, a figure suddenly leaped high into the air. He stepped through the air several times, quickly closing the distance.
Golden light flashed as Sengoku transformed into a gigantic golden Buddha. An invisible force pressed down on Rediat—that was Conqueror's Haki.
Sengoku descended from the sky and struck down at Rediat with his palm.
"Great Buddha Impact!"
A terrifying shock wave erupted.
The white shock wave slammed into the ground. The entire harbor shook as the hard surface shattered and sank, while rocks crumbled under the force of the impact.
The area affected by the shock wave continued to expand.
When the light faded, a huge crater remained where Sengoku's attack
