Xiao Wu is the fifth child of a Soft Bone Rabbit family. Her father died during her childhood; her mother, Ah Rou, raised her with gentleness and strength. After Xiao Wu transformed into human form, Bibi Dong’s people hunted Ah Rou. Though Da Ming and Er Ming invited her into the Star Dou Great Forest’s core area, Xiao Wu chose to enter the human world instead. 341

In the unaltered future recounted by Su Yan, Xiao Wu met Tang San shortly after leaving the forest. Her attachment to him displaced her cultivation and her goal of avenging Ah Rou. During their time at Nuoding Academy, she and Tang San each reached level 29, despite Xiao Wu’s superior innate foundation. 341

Her true identity as a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast was eventually exposed. Tang Hao rescued her and Tang San, after which they hid in the Star Dou Great Forest for five years.
