Background

Minghe was born within a miraculous placenta in the Netherworld Blood River after gestating for 100,000 years. His birth stirred the Endless Sea of Blood into monstrous waves; the placenta later remained as the Sea of Blood Lotus Stamen, his companion spiritual root. 1274 1319

As a spirit born from the Sea of Blood, Minghe cultivated through slaughter and sought to prove his Dao by killing Heaven, Earth, and all living beings. He created the Asura Race, gained substantial merit and fortune, and cultivated 480 million Blood God Son avatars. 92 859 1274

In ancient times, Minghe challenged sword cultivators throughout the Primordial Chaos World. He defeated King Father of the East and repeatedly sparred with the pre-Sage Tongtian, but Tongtian ultimately surpassed him; Minghe thereafter became recognized as one of the foremost practitioners of the Way of the Sword. 1302 1314
