The world emerged after a cosmological sequence in which Void gave birth to Primordial, Primordial gave birth to Chaos, and Chaos opened into the Primordial world. Its energies and the three thousand Laws gradually became ordered and accessible, attracting Chaos Gods and Devils that sought to seize it 49 990.

Great God Pangu fought the invading Chaos God-Demons and died after exhausting his strength. Before his death, he entrusted Changkong Daoist with the world's protection; Pangu's body later became its myriad things, mountains, and the Witch Race's origins, while his nascent soul helped form the Three Pure Ones 990 1273.

Following Pangu's death, survivors of the original influx—including Hongjun, Rahu, Shenni, Yang Mei, Qian Kun, and Yin Yang—remained within the world. Changkong Daoist subsequently blocked further large-scale Chaos incursions and severed the world's connection to Chaos, allowing it to remain comparatively stable 890 1273.

The Violet Gold Qi released during the Primordial Violet Gold List's appearance multiplied the world's spiritual qi, dispelled its decay, and refined the magical power of its great powers 3. Repeated ranking revelations later bestowed further mysterious powers, increasing the world's stability and strengthening its inhabitants 910 911.

Tongtian Jianmu is a Chaos Spiritual Root planted in the world by Changkong Daoist. Half of its immeasurable body stands within the Primordial Chaos World while the other half reaches into endless Chaos; it connects Heaven and Earth, stabilizes the world's foundation, and shields it from disasters 126 1153.

It ranks fifth on the Primordial Era Battle Power Ranking with a battle-power value of 2.38625 billion 1153.

Chaos Incursions

Despite the defensive network, Chaos Fierce Beasts continue to breach the world. These intruders are drawn by the world's refined cultivation environment, and the Four Sacred Beasts and other Heavenly Machine Tower defenders eliminate them when they appear 1358 1379.

Inhabitants and Power Structure

The Human Race, Witch Race, and Demon Race are the world's three principal races, while Sage lineages occupy a higher political position 974. Their competition for resources has left many ordinary beings with little opportunity to rise, as major resources are held by Sages and the Witch and Demon Races 1232.

Dao Ancestor Hongjun is regarded as the world's ruler after merging with the Heavenly Dao. He is accused of controlling the Six Sages, directing calamities, and manipulating the Witch, Demon, and Human Races to maintain control over the world 770 833 972.
