Background

Primordial is one of the Three Pure Ones formed from Pangu's Primordial Spirit. Though this grants him Pangu's legacy and creation merit, the division of one Primordial Spirit into three left each brother with an inherent disposition; Primordial is characterized as jealous. 24

While searching Buzhou Mountain with Laozi and Tongtian, he encountered East King Duke carrying multiple exceptional treasures. Resenting East King Duke's fortune, Primordial claimed that all treasures of the Primordial World should belong to the Three Pure Ones as Pangu's successors and demanded their surrender. 24

East King Duke refused, and Primordial joined his brothers in battle. Despite their combined strength, the Three Pure Ones could not take the treasures and withdrew after thousands of exchanges. 24

Personality

Primordial places immense importance on Pangu orthodoxy, pedigree, and the perceived superiority of his own lineage. His conviction that the Three Pure Ones inherit Pangu's destiny informs both his demands on others and his sense of entitlement to spiritual treasures. 24

He is openly disdainful of cultivators with origins he considers inferior, especially those “born of wetness and eggs.” This prejudice extends to his view of the Yao Race and contributes to friction with other major factions. 55 80

As leader of the Heavenly Origin Sect, he values reputation, discipline, and his disciples' moral standing.
