His Story

"You really knew how to pick a place."

Meli, hovering in mid-air, looked down at the high ground below with a chuckle. "Here, the other Bounty Hunters won't be able to catch you."

"Haraharahara~"

"Of course."

Perona smiled. "That was exactly why we came here."

If they hadn't valued how easy this place was to defend and hard to attack, they wouldn't have gone through so much trouble to come here.

Then Perona continued, "All right, let's hurry down."

Meli nodded, then quickly followed Perona down to Nico Robin and the others.

Nico Robin put away the Den Den Mushi and smiled as she reached out to rub the little guy's head. The more she looked at him, the more she liked him.

"So you're Meli, the Straw Hat Crew's trainee."

Galette stepped closer and said, "You're so cute."

As she spoke, Galette reached out, wanting to hold the little guy as well, but Meli nimbly dodged her.

"Who are you?"

Meli poked her little head out from behind Perona's back. "I don't know you."

Galette felt somewhat helpless. That was true, but she meant no harm. Did he really need to avoid her like that?

"She..." Perona thought for a moment, then said with a mischievous smile, "She's Xi Yan's fiancée."

"Huh?"

Meli stared at Perona with a face full of question marks. What did she mean, this person was Xi Yan's fiancée?
