Background

Xun'er arrived at the Xiao Clan as a child. Xiao Yan helped her integrate into the clan and cared for her when her meridians ached. When his cultivation regressed, she defended him from mockery and spent her own money on resources for his body tempering. Their long shared history led her to call him “Brother Xiao Yan.” 224

At the coming-of-age ceremony, she demonstrated One-Star Dou Zhe cultivation. Xiao Yan gave her a secret technique intended to purify her bloodline; after cultivating it for nearly three years, its use further increased her already concentrated Dou God Bloodline. 5 245

When the delegation arrives in Tian Shu City, Xun'er explains the transmission token to Xiao Yan and stands beside him with Xiao Yi Xian.
