When Gu He's party attacked Yue Mei outside Snake-People Holy City, Medusa intervened and severely injured Lion King Yan Shi and Windwalker Feng Li with two energy bolts before they could react. Deal with Xiao Yan

Xiao Yan approached Medusa seeking the Green Lotus Core Flame and correctly deduced that she intended to use it for a bloodline evolution. His knowledge of the Myriad Beast Spirit Flame—especially its suitability for evolving magical-beast bloodlines—persuaded her to negotiate rather than attack him. 41 43

They agreed that Xiao Yan would use the Myriad Beast Spirit Flame to assist her evolution and refine pills from the tribe's medicinal stores; Medusa would give him the Green Lotus Core Flame afterward. 43

The alliance nearly collapsed when Medusa ordered Yun Yun's execution. Xiao Yan intervened, fought Medusa, and injured her with his flames and Earth Rank techniques. Evolution into the Nine-Colored Heaven-Swallowing Python

After recovering from her injuries, Medusa prepared an isolated island and an Ice Spirit Cold Spring pool for the evolution. Xiao Yan provided a Tier 6 Myriad Beast Pill and controlled the Myriad Beast Spirit Flame while Medusa activated the Snake-People Tribe's secret evolution method. 47 48

The flame's magical-beast essence resonated with the secret technique and surrounding natural energy, dramatically accelerating the evolution. Medusa temporarily reverted to snake form, then drank Xiao Yan's blood to complete the final stage of her rebirth. 48
