Background / History

Han Yu was originally affiliated with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and engaged to Ning Rongrong. After facing Chen Xin's sword intent and the sect leadership's treatment of him and Gu Rong, he annulled the engagement and left the sect with Gu Rong. He regarded the decision as deliberate rather than emotional, then proposed founding their own sect after obtaining his fifth soul ring. 3 4

Before his departure from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, Han Yu awakened memories of his past life and realized that he had been reincarnated into the Douluo Continent. His parents had left to seek opportunities to become Title Douluo, leaving Gu Rong to raise him in the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. At the age of six, Han Yu awakened the Dark Sacred Dragon and Light Sacred Dragon as twin Martial Souls, after which Ning Fengzhi arranged his betrothal to Ning Rongrong. 1
