Background / History

Qian Xunji was already the Pope of Martial Soul Hall when the six-year-old Bibi Dong was brought before her. Recognizing his innate full soul power and Twin Martial Souls, she accepted him as her disciple, gave him a dark-gold storage Soul Tool, and arranged for Yue Guan to teach him Soul Master fundamentals before personally taking him to obtain his first soul ring. 1

As Bibi Dong's teacher, Qian Xunji taught him the dangers of judging soul-beast ages and emphasized leaving a margin of fifty to one hundred years when selecting soul rings. She was impressed by his growth but avoided praising his unusually high-age rings too openly, fearing that encouragement would make him take increasingly dangerous risks. 3

Early in her tenure as Pope, she represented Martial Soul Hall in a successful transaction with the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. She also began taking a more active interest in Bibi Dong's cultivation after realizing that much of his early instruction had been handled by Yue Guan. 4 6
