Background / History

The Body Sect is a secretive organization built around Body Martial Souls—martial souls formed from parts of the wielder's own body, including eyes, arms, bones, blood, and hearts. Its core creed is that “Body Martial Souls are the best in the world,” and it regards the body itself as the strongest weapon. 5

The sect is known for being xenophobic, eccentric, and fiercely protective of its own members. Its conduct is neither consistently righteous nor evil; it acts according to its own judgment. It once openly clashed with Shrek Academy and reportedly forced that era’s Shrek headmaster to compromise. 5

Dai Tu sought the Body Sect as protection from the White Tiger Duke Mansion, reasoning that his eye-type Kaleidoscope Sharingan qualified as a Body Martial Soul. Although the sect had no public records or obvious presence in Heaven Dou City, Wang Changbi discovered him after his ten-match Death Arena winning streak and brought him into the sect. 6 9 11

Du Busi accepted Dai Tu without demanding loyalty tests, made him his personal disciple, and declared that Dai Tu’s enemies were also the Body Sect’s enemies. This acceptance established Dai Tu as a central figure in the sect’s later reforms and succession. 15

Headquarters

The Body Sect conceals its entrance behind an unmarked, ordinary residence in a dilapidated district of Heaven Dou City. A specific knock pattern grants access through the house and into the sect’s true mountain-built complex. 11

Doctrine and Culture

The Body Sect considers every bearer of a Body Martial Soul part of one family. Wang Changbi states that the sect will not abandon such people or allow them to be bullied outside. 11

Unlike sects that test recruits before investing in them, the Body Sect’s philosophy is to provide resources, protection, and trust first. Its members are expected to reciprocate through mutual support rather than immediate proof of loyalty. 15

Because each Body Martial Soul differs radically, the sect has no universal cultivation method. Eye, arm, heart, and other body-based martial souls require individualized exploration; disciples therefore exchange experience and assist one another’s development. 15

Du Busi reveals the sect’s decline in recruitment, resources, and technological relevance. Dai Tu persuades him to embrace Soul Tools and recruit specialized talent rather than cling to tradition. 36 37 38

Recruitment of Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong

Following a bet with Shrek Academy, Du Busi brings Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong to the Body Sect. Both are accepted as core disciples, granted priority resources, and recognized as important to the sect’s future. 69 70

Clear Sky Sect Conflict

Tang San, Niu Tian, and Titan accuse the Body Sect of abducting Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong and threaten to destroy its mountain gate. The sect mobilizes its disciples and elders; Du Busi refuses to yield, fighting Niu Tian and Titan to defend the sect’s members. 105 107 110 111

The conflict leaves the Body Sect badly damaged and Du Busi injured, but Tang San’s party ultimately retreats after Du Busi severely wounds Titan and injures Niu Tian. 117 118

Dai Tu’s Succession

After Dai Tu defends the sect with Susanoo during the later assault, Du Busi entrusts him with the Secret of the Body and identifies him as the next Sect Master. 118

After decades of avoiding public continental competitions, the Body Sect decides to enter the Elite Continental Soul Master Tournament.
