Xia Ming was discovered as a child possessing the Golden-Haired Lion Mastiff Martial Soul and Innate Full Soul Power. His ringless physical strength already challenged accepted Soul Master theory, prompting Yan Shaozhe to convene an emergency Sea God Pavilion meeting. Mu En and the academy elders recognized both his extraordinary potential and the responsibility of guiding him. 3

Under Mu En’s guidance, Xia Ming deliberately chose enhancement-oriented early soul skills rather than straightforward attacks, believing his martial soul’s innate physique and combat instincts were already sufficient foundations. Mu En confirmed that his body could withstand a thousand-year first soul ring, far beyond the conventional first-ring limit. 7

He later inherited the Qilin God King’s legacy. This awakened the god-bestowed Holy Qilin as his second martial soul, granted dominion over ultimate elements, and bound his future to the Qilin God Position and its trials. 61 70
