During the Third Shinobi World War, Uchiha Akira demonstrated extraordinary prowess. Their relationship later changes after Hikari returns as a Ten-Tails jinchūriki. Akira uses the Tenseigan to confirm the Ten-Tails sealed within her, then consults Shisui about using enhanced Kotoamatsukami to stop her from becoming an enemy. 246 After Shisui’s technique changes her will, Hikari becomes a volatile but cooperative ally. 248 Akira remains cautious around her to avoid exposing the technique’s effects, but he also treats her as an essential combatant against Nagato, Madara, Kaguya, and the Ōtsutsuki threat. 248 258 262

Team Members (Aburame Shigang, Hyuga Kaoru, Yamanaka Shigeyoshi)

Akira was assigned a team for the Akatsuki mission composed of Aburame Shigang, Hyuga Kaoru, and Yamanaka Shigeyoshi. The team members showed immediate deference to Akira’s leadership, accepting his authority without question and remaining calm and professional upon meeting him 32. Akira’s interactions with them were efficient and mission-focused, with no personal bonds indicated beyond professional respect.

Yamanaka Shigeyoshi later sacrifices himself during the mission, an outcome Akira regrets but accepts with composure. 41 Hyūga Kaoru remains connected to Akira’s later Tenseigan research, although her own Tenseigan does not show signs of awakening at the time of the expected conflict with Nagato. 220

Might Duy and Might Guy

After the battle with the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, Akira exchanged mutual respect with Might Duy, giving each other thumbs-ups. Guy, along with Genma and Ebisu, expressed gratitude and awe toward Akira for his decisive actions during the fight, cementing a positive, if brief, camaraderie 8.

As Hokage, Akira later assigns Might Guy to teach taijutsu at the Ninja Academy, viewing Guy’s abilities as valuable to the village’s reformed education system. 183

Yakushi Nonō

Akira worked closely with Yakushi Nonō on the Shentian Bio research project, specifically on biological cloning and Hashirama Senju cell transplantation. Tsunade

Akira’s relationship with Tsunade develops from political cooperation into close strategic partnership. Uchiha Shisui

Shisui initially admires Akira as a stronger senior Uchiha and supports him during Konoha’s conflicts. 135 153 Under Akira’s leadership, Shisui receives Hashirama cells, participates in Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan experiments, and learns Sage Mode. 135 177 186 Akira also relies on Shisui’s Kotoamatsukami as a strategic weapon but cautions him that genjutsu can be broken or create complications. 135 248

Senju Tobirama

Akira’s relationship with Senju Tobirama begins after Tobirama is freed from Uchiha Hikari’s Yachihoko genjutsu. Akira subsequently meets Indra through Sasuke’s spiritual world. Indra is impressed by Akira’s strength and gives him the Yin component of Six Paths: Planetary Devastation. 271 Akira’s interactions with both brothers allow their long-running conflict to end with Asura and Indra returning to the Pure Land together. 271

Nagato

Akira regards Nagato as one of the earliest and most dangerous threats to Konoha. After detecting Nagato’s Rinnegan, Hashirama cells, and rapidly expanding potential through Spirit Transformation, Akira concludes that Nagato may eventually surpass both Hashirama and Madara. 54 Their conflict escalates through Nagato’s attacks during the Kumogakure war and later through Nagato’s incomplete Ten-Tails jinchūriki transformation. 141 231

Although Akira recognizes Nagato’s immense strength, he dismisses Nagato’s claim to be the second Sage of Six Paths and ultimately treats him as a strategic threat to be restrained and stripped of Ten-Tails power. 231 251 Akira’s later plans involve coordinating with Hikari and his allies to remove the Ten-Tails from Nagato’s body. 248 251

The Uchiha Clan

As a rising star within the clan, Akira commanded respect and trust. He offered the four legendary blades he had taken from the Seven Ninja Swordsmen to the clan, a political gesture that strengthened his standing 10. Fugaku kept Akira informed of clan decisions, such as supporting Minato for Hokage, and Akira was given access to powerful sealing jutsu as a reward 10. When clan members grew upset after Hiruzen’s reinstatement, Akira participated in discussions about the clan’s future, though he deferred to Fugaku’s leadership 75.
