Background / History

Tang Hao withdrew to a hidden cave behind a waterfall near Holy Soul Village. Once known as the Clear Sky Douluo, he had become an isolated, despondent alcoholic, spending his days beside a withered Blue Silver Grass left after the sacrifice of the Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor, Ah Yin. He continued to speak to the plant about Tang San and his hopes for their son. 77 91

A report that Tang San had been seriously injured prompted Tang Hao to leave the village temporarily. Lin Mo had engineered the situation to draw him away, allowing Lin Mo and Zi Ling to enter the cave and remove the Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone and the Blue Silver Emperor seedling. Zi Ling concealed the theft by placing ordinary Blue Silver Grass in the original location. 77 78

His despondency vanishes when Tang San or Ah Yin is threatened. After discovering that Ah Yin's soul bone had been stolen, he immediately connected Lin Mo, Zi Ling, and Tang San's injury to the theft, responding with overwhelming rage and a determination to kill Lin Mo. 91 99

Although patient enough to investigate Lin Mo, question Yu Xiaogang, and wait for an isolated opportunity, Tang Hao is prone to acting on incomplete conclusions. Investigation of Lin Mo

After Tang San's defeat, Tang Hao visits Yu Xiaogang to investigate Lin Mo's abnormal cultivation, lightning absorption, thousand-year second soul ring, and connection to Xiao Wu. These clues lead Tang Hao to suspect that Lin Mo and Zi Ling are linked to transformed Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts. 79 80

Discovery and Pursuit

Tang Hao discovers the substituted Blue Silver Grass and empty hidden compartment, realizing that Ah Yin's soul bone has been taken. He resolves to recover the stolen remains and settle Tang San's grievance against Lin Mo. 91 99

Ambush Outside Heaven Dou City

After waiting for Lin Mo to be separated from Dugu Bo, Tang Hao launches an ambush on Lin Mo's route to the Heaven Dou City Martial Soul Holy Hall. He drives Lin Mo from the city, defeats Dugu Bo's Martial Soul Avatar, and pursues Lin Mo into the wilderness. 107

Defeat and Escape

In the wilderness, Tang Hao is misled by Lin Mo's simulated seven-colored soul rings, apparent Twin Martial Souls, and Zi Ling's illusory projection. Believing himself trapped between a monstrous opponent, a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast, and approaching Title Douluos, he detonates two soul rings and escapes. 108

Tang Hao survives, but his injuries and old wounds flare up severely. He remains unable to explain how a three-ring Soul Elder displayed such overwhelming strength and continues to regard Lin Mo as deeply abnormal. 110
