Background

Before arriving on the Douluo Continent, Shi Hao fought the Source of Darkness. His punch shattered not only his target but time and space; temporal backflow retracted the strike, caused his cultivation realm to plummet, and left him unable to resist the spatial rift that consumed him. 1

He fell near Shrek Academy with Han Li, Xiao Yan, and Wang Lin. Rather than being alarmed by the unfamiliar world, he immediately celebrated its “scent of battle” and looked for opponents. He agreed to stay at the academy because it gave him a place to fight. 2 3
