Background / History

Wang Lin stood at the end of the cycle of reincarnation seeking to restore Li Muwan, whom he had pursued for countless years. He intended to use the Heavenly Inverse Bead to reverse causality and break the cycle, but the artifact instead devoured his causal power, shattered and reorganized his past, present, and future, then dragged him through a spatial rift to the Douluo Continent. 1

After falling near Shrek Academy alongside Han Li, Xiao Yan, and Shi Hao, Wang Lin remained detached from Tang San’s attempts to welcome the newcomers. He recognized a deity-like aura on Tang San’s causal line and regarded him as someone backed by a powerful force. 3

In Douluo, Wang Lin’s long-term interest is the continent’s reincarnation secret.
