Background / History

Han Li spent three thousand years cultivating from a mortal to the half-step Mahayana stage. While attempting to break through in Void Heaven Palace, his Heavenly Bottle’s forming Creation Spirit Liquid reversed, drained his spiritual power, and tore open a spatial rift that pulled him into the Douluo Continent. 1

He landed outside Shrek Academy alongside Xiao Yan, Shi Hao, and Wang Lin. Discovering that the realm’s spiritual energy differed from that of the Immortal World, he calculated that his cultivation had been suppressed to barely Foundation Establishment. He immediately concealed the Heavenly Bottle and resolved to remain inconspicuous until he understood the local rules. 2

At Shrek, Han Li accepted temporary observation by Flender and shared a dormitory with the other three arrivals. He adapted by using the Heavenly Bottle to absorb moonlight and convert it into energy similar to soul power, allowing him to cultivate faster than ordinary Spirit Masters despite the bottle operating at less than one-tenth of its former efficiency. 3 4
