Her first dealings with Lin Shu were hostile. The old woman’s death, Lin Shu’s interference with the formation, and his possession of Yu Sheng’s Essence Blood left her frightened and resentful. The Essence Blood bound their lives together and gave Lin Shu leverage over her actions. 28 47 65
