Background / History

Twelve years before his near-death battle with Tai Yi, Tang San violated the Tang Sect's rules, jumped from a cliff, and arrived in the Douluo Continent. During his later defeat, he wonders whether death might allow him to transmigrate back to the Tang Sect's world. 43

Tang San is Tang Hao's son and the nephew of Tang Yuehua and Tang Xiao. His twin martial souls—Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer—and Innate Full Soul Power establish his importance to the Clear Sky Sect, despite resentment toward him over Tang Hao's past. 56 57 58

Tang Hao sacrifices himself to give Tang San an opportunity to escape Spirit Hall, but is later captured and executed by Qian Daoliu. Following Tang San's eventual acceptance into the Clear Sky Sect, its destruction leaves him without surviving known family or sect support. 40 41 44 59 101 103
