Background / History

Tang Hao was a member of the Clear Sky Sect and the grandson of Tang Chen. Tang Chen's death at Qian Xunji's hands devastated him; Tang Hao vowed revenge and resolved to grow stronger. The sect subsequently declined under pressure from six major sects, forcing Tang Hao, Tang Xiao, and other direct descendants to flee toward Sea God Island. 30 44

At Sea God Island, Tang Hao hoped to gain strength through divine trials and eventually surpass Qian Xunji. His ambitions were repeatedly undercut by his cultivation gap, humiliations inflicted by Qian Xunji, and Bo Saixi's low opinion of his potential. 48 49 73

The Rakshasa God's interference transformed Tang Hao into a woman and removed his Erlang Martial Soul. Tang Hao continued to identify as male despite the physical change and struggled with the loss of status and control over his life. 90 92

Tang Hao later became pregnant with Tang San after being assaulted by Tang Shan while unconscious. The Clear Sky Sect treated his transformation and pregnancy as a source of shame, contributing to Tang Xiao, Tang Hao, and Tang Yuehua's departure from Clear Sky Island. 92 93 96

Tang Hao is proud, competitive, and quick to anger. He repeatedly measures himself against Qian Xunji and reacts rashly when provoked, including attacking Qian Xunji over his feelings for Bo Saixi and being baited by Gu Rong. 69 97

His pride can conflict with his responsibilities: he initially refused to kneel even when Bibi Dong threatened Tang San. However, he ultimately submitted to preserve Tang San's life and the continuation of the Clear Sky lineage. 99 100
