Gu Yue is the Silver Dragon King and a former half-step God King-level powerhouse, carrying responsibility for the future of the Soul Beast race. With human soul technology steadily compressing Soul Beast habitat toward extinction, she seeks a means for her kin to survive. She approaches the Phoenix Family alongside Di Tian and Bi Ji, reveals her identity to Leng Hanyuan, and proposes a mutually beneficial partnership. 6 7

Her stated objective is access to the Spirit Transmission Pagoda, whose resources and internal structure she intends to use for the Soul Beast Clan's future. Though she initially requests immediate access to its core, she accepts a slower path when Leng Hanyuan explains that this cannot be arranged directly. To provide a credible identity, she becomes his nominal disciple and enters the pagoda under his protection. 8 12

Gu Yue also seeks to reunite with Na'er, a human personality born when Gu Yue integrated herself into human society and later separated from her.
