Background / History
Yun Ming led Shrek Academy during a period when its senior ranks were divided and its top-level strength lagged behind the Spirit Pagoda, War God Hall, and Tang Sect. Although regarded as the continent’s number one person, he recognized that one powerhouse could not sustain an entire faction; this was part of why he had once wanted to recruit Han Li into Shrek. 43 61
After Cai Yue’er and Long Yeyue were killed, Yun Ming wrongly concluded that Qiangu Dongfeng and the Federation were responsible. Seeking retaliation, he defeated Qiangu Dongfeng at Spirit Pagoda headquarters with three spear strikes, then destroyed the Federation Parliament Building and killed councilors involved in the conflict. 66 67
He later confronted Han Li directly. Initially believing Han Li to be a Spirit Pagoda pawn, Yun Ming offered to accept him as a disciple after witnessing his talent. Han Li refused, then admitted that he had personally killed Cai Yue’er and Long Yeyue; Yun Ming consequently abandoned any hope of reconciliation and resolved to eliminate him. 67 68
Yun Ming survived their first major battle only by withdrawing after realizing that Han Li’s healing ability made him extremely difficult to kill. He later united Shrek, the Tang Sect, and the War God Hall against Han Li, participating in a three-on-one battle alongside Zang Xin and Chen Xinjie. 69 81 83
Following the failure of that alliance, Yun Ming returned to Shrek weakened and secluded himself. When Han Li returned to destroy Shrek Academy, Yun Ming ultimately sacrificed his self-created divine position for one final attack, but Han Li’s Myriad Dao Annihilation erased the strike and destroyed Yun Ming completely. 101 103 104
