Keisuke's Death

Uchiha Keisuke had awakened his Sharingan. In terms of Taijutsu alone, these ordinary wandering ninjas were no match for him.

He held a Kunai and blocked the sword that one of the ninjas swung at him, then used the force of the blow to knock it aside.

At that moment, another ninja attacked from the other side. His weapon collided with the deflected sword, and the impact made the first ninja cry out in pain and loosen his grip.

Keisuke seized the falling sword and spun around, cutting down the first two wandering ninjas and the three trying to ambush him from behind.

With a sword in hand, he was unstoppable, darting through the crowd and slashing left and right.

Two Senju ninjas who had been helping Senju Arashi suppress Wuming charged at him from one side. Their attacks were clearly stronger than those of the wandering ninjas around them, but Keisuke remained unruffled.

First, he threw the sword in his hand to interrupt one ninja's attack. Then he kicked the other Senju ninja.

The Senju ninja crossed his arms to block the kick, but Keisuke used the rebound to leap into the air.

Midair, Keisuke quickly formed Hand Seals. "Fire Style: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique!"

Dozens of fireballs flew from Keisuke's mouth. Guided with precision by his Sharingan, they shot into the crowd, and screams rang out without pause.

At the same time, before landing, Keisuke pulled out a large number of smoke bombs and hurled them at the ground. Thick smoke blanketed the entire battlefield.

For a moment, no one could tell friend from foe. They could only stay alert within a small area.

Only Keisuke, with his Sharingan activated, was unaffected. Under cover of the smoke, he reaped lives with abandon. Fear spread through the crowd, and in an instant, Keisuke alone had turned the tide.

Firelight and thick smoke mingled across the battlefield. Screams and the sounds of tearing flesh rose and fell, making the place seem like a hell of slaughter and sending a chill through anyone who saw it.

Several Senju ninjas surrounding Shiri wavered when they saw the crowd descend into chaos. After exchanging glances, they tried to defeat Shiri quickly and rush to support the others, tightening their encirclement much faster.

Shiri, watching them from the shadows, sensed their urgency. She pulled out several Shuriken and hurled them at the approaching Senju ninjas.

At the same time, she activated her Sharingan, instantly catching every Senju ninja in her field of vision and placing them under its Genjutsu.

To outsiders, Shiri had thrown only a dozen or so Shuriken. But to the Senju ninjas, a vast rain of Shuriken came whistling toward them, and they couldn't tell which were real and which were illusions.

Unfortunately, there was still some distance between the Senju ninjas and Shiri, giving them enough time to react and take cover behind trees, using the thick trunks as shields.

But hidden behind the trees, they failed to notice that Shiri's pupils had turned crimson. Her Three-Tomoe Sharingan swept around, quickly pinpointing their positions.

The Sharingan Genjutsu had only been a feint. The real killing move was the technique she used now, forcing the Senju ninjas into a dead end.

Shiri moved her fingers, and the threads attached to them altered the course of some of the Shuriken.

Five Senju ninjas were caught by the threads on the Shuriken and tightly bound to the trees, unable to break free for the moment.

Shiri held all the threads between her teeth and formed the four Hand Seals for Snake, Dragon, Hare, and Tiger at incredible speed. It was Fire Style: Dragon Fire Technique!

The roaring flames raced along the threads in Shiri's mouth toward the Senju ninjas. The few who were bound could only wait in despair for the scorching heat to reach them.

At the critical moment, Senju Arashi's shout rang out from afar: "Water Style: Great Waterfall Technique!"

It turned out that Senju Arashi had sensed something was wrong as soon as Shiri threw the Shuriken.

The Uchiha Clan were experts at manipulating ninja tools with their Sharingan. Why would they waste chakra by simply throwing a large number of Shuriken into a forest full of cover?

So she temporarily gave up on closing in on Wuming and completed the Hand Seals for the Great Waterfall Technique before Shiri could finish forming those for the Dragon Fire Technique.

The towering waves collided with the five surging fire dragons, producing a massive cloud of steam in an instant.

Though the fire dragons were ultimately swallowed by the waves, a large volume of scalding water still crashed straight into the five Senju ninjas.

The impact of the water and the scorching heat from the high temperature made the Senju ninjas scream, "Aaaah!" before the waves swept them away, leaving them temporarily unable to fight.

Qiancao, who had been born in peacetime, had a glimmer in his eyes as his Sharingan flickered in and out.

Screams rang constantly in his ears. Severed limbs kept flying out of the smoke before his eyes. The air was thick with smoke and the smell of charred wood, along with a faint scent of cooked meat.

Qiancao tried not to think about where the smell of cooked meat came from. He put all his effort into dodging Senju Arashi's techniques, occasionally using the Great Fireball Technique to knock away incoming Shuriken.

Having had no time to draw water from the distant mountain spring, Senju Arashi had performed a large-scale Water Release Ninjutsu from thin air. She was slightly winded and temporarily unable to close in and suppress Wuming.

Wuming, who was rich in combat experience, didn't miss the chance. While Senju Arashi caught her breath, she finished forming the Hand Seals.

Fire Style: Great Dragon Fire Technique!

A dragon-shaped blaze flew from Wuming's mouth and rushed straight toward Senju Arashi, who was catching her breath where she stood.

Senju Arashi didn't dare take the attack head-on, so she leaped to the side to avoid the flames.

Though Wuming's attack had missed, Senju Arashi's frantic evasion meant she could no longer keep track of Wuming's position.

The dragon-shaped flames spiraled through the forest, setting many trees ablaze. The smoke that rose became the perfect cover for Wuming.

Taking advantage of the smoke, Wuming ran over to Shiri and said, "Let's go." Then she took hold of Qiancao beside her.

The warmth from Wuming's hand helped Qiancao steady himself, easing the disgust he felt at seeing so many dead people.

"Let's get out of here first," Shiri said calmly. "Uchiha Keisuke deliberately revealed his position earlier, and we don't know whose side he's on. There's little point in continuing the mission. Let's retreat and report back to the clan before deciding what to do."

But before Shiri and Wuming could move, Keisuke used the Body Flicker Technique to appear in front of them. "Why not kill those Senju ninjas before you leave?"

Keisuke trembled slightly from exhaustion. He was covered in blood, and his body was riddled with wounds left by the enemy. He was clearly badly hurt.

Wuming and Shiri, on the other hand, had relied on Ninjutsu to win their fights and were almost uninjured. In terms of combat strength, Keisuke was now at a disadvantage.

Still, Shiri didn't dare let her guard down. "The mission has failed. Hayasaka Sae has run off somewhere. We should return to the clan as soon as possible and report what we've learned before making any further plans."

Keisuke grinned. "She's the Senju Clan leader's daughter! Such a valuable hostage, such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—I don't want to give it up!"

With his face drenched in blood, he really did look like the battle maniac he usually was.

Shiri didn't want to deal with him. She gave Wuming a signal and prepared to retreat, but Keisuke snatched up a sword from somewhere and charged straight at Senju Arashi, shouting, "Aaaah!"

"Quick, go!" Shiri cried in alarm. Keisuke was deliberately drawing attention to himself again. All she could do was hope he would hold Senju Arashi off for a little while.

But the three of them had barely run ten meters before Keisuke met Senju Arashi.

Facing Uchiha Keisuke, who had killed so many people right in front of her, Senju Arashi showed no mercy. Furious, she gathered chakra in her fist and punched him, crushing half his head!

The Uchiha in front of her was beyond saving. Senju Arashi kicked his corpse aside and charged after Shiri and Wuming as they fled!
