Background / History

Sanhe joins Team One under Uchiha Shisui alongside Uchiha Ryosuke and Uchiha Miyuki. Initially, he is openly dismissive of Ryosuke because of his age and believes he can handle A-rank missions alone. He is nevertheless an Uchiha prodigy who has concealed his true capabilities, including a Three-Tomoe Sharingan. 17 18 19

During the bell-training exercise, Sanhe and Miyuki initially compete with Ryosuke rather than cooperate with him. After exhausting his chakra, Sanhe reluctantly accepts Ryosuke's assistance; the trio ultimately secures the bells through Ryosuke's substitution plan. 19 20

On Team One's first border reconnaissance mission, Sanhe experiences his first real combat against Cloud ninja. He refuses Ryosuke's help out of pride, activates his Three-Tomoe Sharingan to immobilize an opponent, and is left covered in slime when that opponent escapes through a summoning technique. 22 23

As Team One faces increasingly dangerous missions, Sanhe becomes more dependable toward his comrades. He helps care for the chakra-depleted Ryosuke after Ryosuke defeats six enemies, supports Shisui when Konoha's loyalty becomes uncertain, and expresses enthusiasm at the possibility of Shisui becoming Fifth Hokage. 43 49 50

Appearance

Sanhe is an Uchiha youth who usually wears his ninja headband and activates the Sharingan in battle. He later changes from traditional Uchiha clothing into a green ninja uniform before the mission against Cloud Anbu. 33 38

Personality

Sanhe is blunt, loud, and wears his thoughts openly. He is highly competitive, particularly toward Ryosuke, and often reacts to being outperformed with complaints or challenges rather than restraint. 20 21 33

His pride can make him reckless: he refuses help in combat, dismisses danger at first, and is eager to fight even when Ryosuke suspects Team One is being led into a trap. 23 40 However, he is not uncaring. He worries when Ryosuke collapses from exhaustion and supports Shisui despite the team's worsening situation. 43 49

Sanhe strongly identifies with the Uchiha clan and resents Konoha's treatment of it. His ambition is to become Hokage, move the Uchiha back into the village, and improve the clan's standing. 34 50

Formation of Team One

Sanhe is introduced as one of Ryosuke's new teammates. He begins with open hostility toward Ryosuke, then joins the bell-training exercise that establishes Team One's need for coordination. 17 20

Border Reconnaissance Mission

He accompanies Shisui, Ryosuke, and Miyuki to investigate Cloud ninja attacks on border villages. The mission gives him his first direct combat experience and exposes both his pride and his Three-Tomoe Sharingan. 21 23

Cloud Anbu Conflict

Sanhe trains for Team One's mission against Cloud Anbu safe houses. Although he initially remains eager to fight, he is forced to confront Ryosuke's warning that the mission may be a trap and later helps Ryosuke escape after his severe chakra depletion. 39 40 43

Return to Konoha

After the mission, Sanhe is among those who realize Konoha may have betrayed Team One. He remains hopeful that Shisui becoming Hokage could resolve the Uchiha clan's alienation. 49 50
