History

The Federation's leadership regarded Shrek Academy and the Tang Sect as entrenched threats to its authority. Shrek graduates occupied influential positions throughout the Federation, while Shrek and the Tang Sect controlled major resources, advanced technologies, and the political balance involving the Star Luo and Heaven Spirit Empires. Federal officials believed this influence obstructed the Federation's military expansion and technological development. 83 113

Following the Lord of Mind's descent, the Federation convened its highest-level meeting to address the Twilight Hermit Society. The organization was classified as more dangerous than the Holy Spirit Cult because it offered followers extraordinary power and eternal life after death, tempting councilors and officials to defect. 70 71

After receiving evidence that the Tang Sect had developed stable Level 12 Fixed Soul Guidance Shells at a lower cost than the Federation, the Federal Council declared the Tang Sect treasonous and initiated its highest state of alert. The Speaker restricted councilors' communications and movements, while the Federation prepared a military operation to seize or destroy Tang Sect technology. 131 132

Under Chen Xinjie's command, the Federation mobilized the War God Temple, the Sea God Legion, nearby auxiliary legions, two mecha legions, and more than two hundred ace mecha pilots. Its forces besieged Shrek City and attacked the Tang Sect headquarters, destroying portions of its data and capturing personnel, though the leading scientists and key researchers were absent. 132 133 134 135

The Federation subsequently endured a devastating surprise assault by the Star Luo Empire and Tang Sect-aligned forces. Its eastern fleets and core infrastructure suffered severe losses under Golden Mechas and advanced Soul-Guided Cannon Shells. 151 152 157 Although the conflict ended in a federal victory, the Federation's losses remained immense, while Shrek Academy was later designated treasonous and ordered to leave Federation territory within one month. 161 164 165

After the expulsion, the Federation accepted a short-term alliance with the Star Luo Empire. The two powers agreed to cooperate against external threats, including the Abyss, while the Star Luo Empire provided troops and weaponry for its defense. 165

The Federation's position deteriorated further after the Holy Spirit Cult devastated the Northern Legion and the Demon Empress killed the Divine Pen Douluo. With threats from the north, west, and other fronts, its ministers struggled to find a unified response. 165 173

Following the deaths of numerous councilors and escalating crises involving Shrek Academy, the Abyss Plane, and the Holy Spirit Cult, the Federal Speaker sought submission to the Lord of Mind. Song Qi revealed himself as a follower and offered the Lord of Mind's support in exchange for the loyalty of the Speaker and ministers. Five years later, the Federation secretly continued developing Golden Mechas and Level Twelve and Thirteen Soul-Guided artillery shells. Its advanced Soul Tools, warships, and living-organism shells were used to contain hostile forces in the Endless Mountains. 184 185

During the Abyss Plane's full-scale invasion, over one-third of Federation territory was occupied. Legions collapsed, western and central territories became devastated wastelands, and mass evacuation toward the Star Luo Empire proved unsustainable. 191

Mecha Forces
