Background / History

Xiao Wu was captured by Du Busi after her identity as a hundred-thousand-year Soft-Bone Rabbit in human form was discovered. Initially immobilized by sealed acupoints, she feared being killed for her soul ring and soul bone once Lu Xiao reached Soul Saint rank. Lu Xiao instead chose to keep her close, believing her survival could lead him to the powerful soul beasts connected to her. 3

Lu Xiao offered her a physical duel: victory would earn her freedom and secrecy regarding her identity, while defeat would make her his exclusive personal maid. Xiao Wu accepted after being provoked, but Lu Xiao defeated and pinned her through overwhelming strength and reactions. She surrendered and accepted the role. 4

Although initially frightened of Du Busi and her situation, Xiao Wu found Lu Xiao's presence and natural fragrance calming. She grew attached to him, regularly seeking his proximity for reassurance and sleep. 5 11

Tang Hao later sensed her soul-beast identity and attempted to seize her. Xiao Wu stood before Lu Xiao's cultivation cauldron to protect him during the conflict, but was severely injured by the battle's residual shockwaves.
