Background / History

Titan was the patriarch of the declining Strength Clan, an eighty-sixth-level assault-type Soul Douluo renowned in Heaven Dou City as “Hercules.” He sought to recruit Lu Xiao after learning that Lu Xiao had defeated both his son Tai Nuo and grandson Tai Long, believing the unprecedented youth could secure the clan’s future. 54

Rather than directly fight Lu Xiao, Titan proposed a wager: Lu Xiao would endure Titan’s pressure for the duration of an incense stick without Titan using his martial soul; failure would require Lu Xiao to join the Strength Clan. Du Busi interrupted the proposal, judged Titan unworthy of coveting his disciple, and beat him into submission. 54

Faced with Du Busi’s ultimatum, Titan swore upon his Powerful Gorilla martial soul to serve Lu Xiao as his master and to lead every member of the Strength Clan in obeying Lu Xiao’s orders. 54

Titan later acted as the intermediary between Lu Xiao and Niu Gao of the Defense Clan. He supported Lu Xiao’s effort to bring that clan under his command and welcomed the prospect of serving their new master alongside Niu Gao. 82 83

After Tai Nuo and Tai Long were defeated, Titan arrived intending to recruit Lu Xiao through a pressure-based wager. Du Busi’s intervention reversed the power dynamic, forcing Titan and the Strength Clan to submit to Lu Xiao instead. 54

Defense Clan Recruitment

Titan invited Lu Xiao to meet Niu Gao, hoping to use the old ties between the Strength and Defense Clans to bring the Defense Clan under Lu Xiao’s command. He remained openly supportive after Niu Gao accepted Lu Xiao as lord. 82 83
