Background / History

Tai Nuo pursued Lu Xiao through Heaven Dou City after Lu Xiao defeated his son, Tai Long, for harassing Xiao Wu. He and Tai Long located Lu Xiao on East Street, where Tai Nuo demanded retribution and threatened to cripple Lu Xiao’s arms. 52 53

Confident in his status as a Soul King, Tai Nuo attacked Lu Xiao directly. Their first clash broke Tai Nuo’s arm; after activating his Strength Ape Martial Soul and several enhancement skills, he used his fifth soul skill in a second frontal exchange. Lu Xiao’s Titan Body-enhanced punch completely shattered Tai Nuo’s right arm, shoulder, and multiple ribs, leaving him unable to fight. 53

Humiliated and injured, Tai Nuo ordered Tai Long to summon his father, Titan. Titan’s subsequent defeat and submission to Du Busi brought the Strength Clan under Lu Xiao’s command; Tai Nuo and Tai Long also submitted. 54

Afterward, Tai Nuo addressed Lu Xiao as “Lord” and acted as a messenger for the Strength Clan. He later informed Lu Xiao that Niu Gao, patriarch of the Defense Clan, had arrived in Heaven Dou City. 82

Tai Nuo is a burly middle-aged man whose physique closely resembles Tai Long’s, though larger and older.

Before his defeat, Tai Nuo was arrogant, confrontational, and accustomed to settling problems through intimidation and brute force. He assumed that his physique, Soul King cultivation, and pure-strength martial soul would overwhelm Lu Xiao, dismissing their first clash as carelessness even after suffering a broken arm. 52 53

He is protective of Tai Long but also domineering toward him, ordering his son to summon Titan once he could no longer fight. After the Strength Clan’s submission, Tai Nuo becomes markedly more respectful toward Lu Xiao and carries out Titan’s requests. 53 54 82
